FAQ’s
Yes, we recommend cutting your lawn around 2-2.5 inches. If we maintain your lawn, we will cut the lawn short before aerating as part of the service.
Yes, clients are required to flag all sprinkler heads, sprinkler control boxes, and any exposed irrigation tubing. We are not responsible for any damage caused to unmarked irrigation or other utilities.
Our Lawn Aeration service is performed from late August through October. As always if you have any special scheduling requests please notify our office and we will do our best to meet your scheduling needs.
Typically new grass will begin appearing within 2 to 4 weeks after the overseeding process. In some instances where the seeding was done in late Fall, new grass may not appear until the following Spring.
After seeding, the lawn should be watered for at least 15-20 minutes each day for 14 days. After 14 days the lawn should be watered 3-4 times a week, this should be sufficient in normal Fall/Spring weather conditions. Between 5am and 6am is an ideal time. In hot conditions two watering sessions may be necessary. We are not responsible for poor results due to insufficient watering.
It is important to wait at least 2 weeks to let the grass seed germinate. If we maintain your lawn we will wait at least 2 weeks to cut the lawn.
Yes, up to a 25% charge for any job cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled service date.

- Aerate your lawn removing 1.5 to 3 inch soil plugs from the ground.
- Overseed your lawn using anywhere from 3 to 5 lbs of grass seed per 1000 sq ft. (Our grass seed blend is a carefully selected mix of fescue, Kentucky bluegrass, and perennial rye-grass).
- Apply Starter fertilizer to the lawn.
- Starter Fertilizer greatly increases grass seed germination, which is simply the growth process that occurs when the seed absorbs sufficient moisture to start sprouting. Starter fertilizer increases the chances of germination success and helps build strong & healthy roots.
- If you are a mowing client, we will cut your lawn short the week before the service. This maximizes results and keeps your lawn at a manageable height while the seed germinates.
